Football Recap: Melbourne Piles Up the Points Against Palm Bay + How To Watch

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Melbourne on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Palm Bay Pirates out of the water with a 59-14 final score. Considering the Bulldogs have won three games by more than 44 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Melbourne found their leader in freshman Tyrese Jefferson, who rushed for 169 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 169 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Jefferson. Michael Rogers also helped with two scores in total.

Melbourne was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 276 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
