Pikes Peak Christian skates past Miami-Yoder with ease

The Pikes Peak Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Miami-Yoder 49-22 on the road. That 27 points margin sets a new team best for Pikes Peak Christian this season.
Pikes Peak Christian was led to victory by Rebecca Thomas and Sarah Harris. Thomas scored 18 points along with five steals, while Harris scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Thomas is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Hannahmae Reed, who scored six points.
Pikes Peak Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Miami-Yoder, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Pikes Peak Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against South Park at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Miami-Yoder won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bethune at 2:00 p.m. on January 13th. Bethune is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
