Will Rogers College came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 62-41 margin over the Coweta Tigers. Given the Ropers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Tigers are ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Will Rogers College's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jay Oates III, who went 7 of 10 en route to 15 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Dkarrion Titsworth, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Will Rogers College pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Coweta, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Memorial the next time they take the court. Will Rogers College will head out to face Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Coweta will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
