Basketball Recap: Dodson Takes a Loss

Dodson lost against Weston back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dodson Panthers had to suffer through a 76-41 loss at the hands of the Weston Wolves. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Dodson's record is now 4-14. As for Weston, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dodson Panthers face off against the Sicily Island Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Weston, they will face off against Simsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Simsboro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Weston likes a good challenge.
