Volleyball Game Preview: Lakota West Firebirds vs. Badin Rams

Lakota West is 0-3 against Badin since October of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Firebirds will host the Rams at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Badin will be up against a hot Lakota West team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Firebirds put the hurt on Princeton with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Badin got the win against Archbishop Alter on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Lakota West better keep an eye on Caitlin Brown. She was instrumental in Badin's win, getting five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Brown has posted since back in September of 2024.

Lakota West's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Badin, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Lakota West came up short against Badin when the teams last played back in August of 2024, falling 3-1. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Rams' Carley Nadler, who had 29 digs and two aces.
