Volleyball Game Preview: Nooksack Valley Pioneers vs. Sedro-Woolley Cubs + How To Watch

The Nooksack Valley Pioneers will head out on the road to face off against the Sedro-Woolley Cubs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, Nooksack Valley came up short against Sehome and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Mariners: they've now lost three in a row.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Sedro-Woolley and Anacortes, and Anacortes kept the tradition alive. The Cubs came up short against the Seahawks on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Sedro-Woolley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Nooksack Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1.

Nooksack Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Sedro-Woolley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
