Softball Recap: Pelican Rapids Comes Up Short

Pelican Rapids was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-1 to the Park Rapids Panthers. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2017.

Pelican Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Park Rapids, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Pelican Rapids has already played their next contest (against Frazee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Park Rapids, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hawley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Nuggets' pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
