It was a good run, but Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corvallis Spartans. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Corvallis, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Corvallis will take on rival Crescent Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
