Baseball Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

After flying high against University on Monday, Windsor came back down to earth. The Warriors took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manchester Red Hawks on Wednesday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Hawks earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Windsor now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Manchester, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

Coming up, Windsor will venture away from home to take on East Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Manchester, they will welcome E.O. Smith/Tolland at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
