It's playoff time, and Laney had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Millbrook Wildcats by a score of 5-2 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Buccaneers, who have now won 17 matchups in a row.

TJ Ziermann was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was JB Brooks, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Laney pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Millbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.

Looking ahead, Laney will challenge Ashley on Tuesday. The last four games the Screaming Eagle have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Millbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
