Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Panthers vs. Eastern Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Southeastern Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Eastern Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Southeastern turned things around against Paint Valley on Friday. They came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 52-41.

Meanwhile, Eastern made easy work of Symmes Valley on Friday and carried off a 63-41 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted against the Vikings since February 9, 2024.

Southeastern's record is now 7-13. As for Eastern, their record now sits at 11-7.

Southeastern came up short against Eastern when the teams last played back in February of 2025, falling 60-54. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
