Basketball Recap: Eagle Point Takes a Loss

Eagle Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 86-68 to the Churchill Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-53 back in January.

Eagle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Churchill, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.

Eagle Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Churchill, they will head out to face off against Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Churchill will be up against Ashland's rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.3 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
