While Caesar Rodney's win against Lake Forest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Riders won by a goal and slipped past the Spartans 2-1. The victory was nothing new for Caesar Rodney as they're now sitting on three straight.

Caesar Rodney's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Lake Forest, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caesar Rodney will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Delmar at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th. Delmar will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Caesar Rodney surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Forest, they will take on Red Lion Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
