Softball Game Preview: Oakland Mills Scorpions vs. Mt. Hebron Vikings

Oakland Mills hasn't had much luck against Mt. Hebron recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Oakland Mills will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Hebron at 4:00 p.m.

Oakland Mills is leaving town to face Mt. Hebron after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Oakland Mills came up short against Centennial on Friday, falling 23-1. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Oakland Mills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was B Ankney, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Mt. Hebron owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They put the hurt on Howard with a sharp 6-0 win.

Oakland Mills might still be hurting after the 19-0 defeat they got from Mt. Hebron in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can Oakland Mills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
