Basketball Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-24 loss at the hands of the Rowland Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1092nd, while the Raiders are ranked 481st).

Despite the loss, Northview still got an impressive performance from Noah Lamas, who posted four points. That's the most points Lamas has posted since back in November of 2024.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Rowland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Northview nor Rowland have any future games scheduled.
