Soccer Recap: Larue County Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Larue County was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Russell County Lakers could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Larue County's draw makes their record 3-6-1 this season. As for Russell County, they moved theirs to 7-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Larue County will square off against Bullitt Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Russell County, they will challenge Monroe County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Russell County will be up against Monroe County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.29 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
