Softball Recap: Pleasant Home Takes a Loss

Pleasant Home was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Kinston Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in March.

Pleasant Home's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Kinston, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season.

Pleasant Home will square off against Straughn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kinston, they have already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Charles Henderson on the 15th.
