Forge Christian faced Colorado Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Fury came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 5-2. The win was familiar territory for the Fury, who have now won 11 matchups in a row.

Brock Wycoff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jonah Boykin, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Wilde, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Forge Christian's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average this season. As for Colorado Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-2.

Forge Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
