Basketball Recap: Greendale Comes Up Short

Greendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 73-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pewaukee Pirates. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 91-84.

Greendale's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Pewaukee, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pewaukee beat Greendale by a score of 73-68 on Friday.
