Football Recap: Lee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lee lost against Ridgeview back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Generals were outmatched by the Wolfpack and fell 47-3. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 115th).

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ridgeview, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lee will square off against Rye Cove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Generals will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Ridgeview, they will take on Paintsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so the Wolfpack's offense will have their work cut out for them.
