Volleyball Recap: Independence Indees vs. Westby Norsemen
Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westby Norsemen. Considering the last time the Indees couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17.
Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Westby, their victory bumped their record up to 16-13.
Independence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Columbus Catholic on the 12th. Westby has also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Plainview-Elgin-Millville on the 12th.
