Softball Recap: Summit Shasta Comes Up Short

If Summit Shasta was riding high fresh off their 21-4 takedown of Luis Valdez Leadership Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Bears fell 22-18 to the El Primero Lobos on Wednesday. The Black Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lobos earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Summit Shasta's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for El Primero, their record now sits at 3-5.

Coincidentally, Summit Shasta and El Primero will both be playing Latino College Preparatory Academy the next time they take the field. The Lobos will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Black Bears will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
