Volleyball Recap: Eureka Comes Up Short

Eureka was the 2-1 winner over Reed when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vandals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Saturday. The Vandals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eureka's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Reed, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Eureka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Fernley on the 23rd. As for Reed, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Portola on the 23rd.
