Pacifica hasn't had much luck against Oxnard recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tritons will head out on the road to face off against the Yellowjackets at 3:30 p.m. Pacifica is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Pacifica came out on top against Santa Barbara on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run first inning. The Tritons blew past the Dons 16-6. The victory continues a trend for the Tritons in their matchups with the Dons: they've now won six in a row.

Pacifica let Kelsey Colvin and Aubrey Colvin run wild. Kelsey went 3-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple, while Aubrey went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those four runs gave Kelsey a new career-high. Denise Gutierrez was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and one double.

With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
