Hozho Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Shiprock Chieftains 18-2. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won four matches by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Hozho Academy got a massive performance out of Mia Baca, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Iris Albert, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Hozho Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Hozho Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Shiprock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hozho Academy will welcome Thoreau at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shiprock, they will host Tohatchi at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
