Sutherland entered their tilt with Mendon on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Vikings 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Sutherland was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-9, 25-19.

Leah Klueber paced Sutherland's offense, picking up 20 kills. Klueber got some help from Chloe Cunniffe and her 33 assists. Klueber also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jessie Powers, each putting up four.

Sutherland's victory bumped their record up to 30-2-2. As for Mendon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Sutherland will face off against Batavia at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mendon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
