South Fulton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Humboldt Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South Fulton took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-8.

Gabi Long paced South Fulton's offense, picking up eight kills. Long got some help from Samantha Auxier and her 12 assists. Journee Puckett controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

South Fulton's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Humboldt, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South Fulton will take on rival Gibson County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Humboldt is set to square off against their familiar foe Lake County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
