After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western Reserve, Mapleton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Plymouth Big Red, sneaking past 30-28. The Mounties haven't had any issues with the Big Red recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Mapleton's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Plymouth, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mapleton is set to challenge their familiar foe South Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Plymouth will take on rival Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
