Game recap: Allendale-Fairfax High School Football Team bests Latta

FAIRFAX, S.C. - After taking the lead in the fourth quarter, Allendale-Fairfax (Fairfax, S.C.) held on for a 14-8 victory over Latta (S.C.) on Saturday. The difference for the Tigers was that Brandon Jordan threw a touchdown to Quindrell Williams.

The Tigers led 8-0 at halftime, but the Vikings regained the lead on a two-point conversion with 11:00 remaining in the fourth. Allendale-Fairfax finally took the lead for the win when Jordan threw a touchdown to Williams with 4:00 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Latta's lone touchdown came on a 60-yard run by Rj McClam in the fourth quarter.

AF came into the game allowing 11.6 points per game.

The loss comes after Latta defeated Lake View 13-0 last week. The loss broke Latta's three-game winning streak.
