Soccer Recap: McGavock Comes Up Short

McGavock lost against Overton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Bobcats, falling 4-1. McGavock have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McGavock now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Overton, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McGavock will face off against Liberty Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. McGavock's defense better be ready for this one: Liberty Creek have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season. As for Overton, they will head out on the road to challenge Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarksville will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Overton surely won't give up without a fight.
