Volleyball Recap: Richard Wright Public Charter School Comes Up Short

Richard Wright Public Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of E.L. Haynes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13.

Richard Wright Public Charter School's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for E.L. Haynes, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richard Wright Public Charter School will square off against DC International at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for E.L. Haynes, they will venture away from home to challenge Bell at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
