Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for George Rogers Clark

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask George Rogers Clark). They put the hurt on the Lexington Christian Eagles with a sharp 12-6 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won three matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Myles Frick looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ben Fulks, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Gunnar Martin, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

George Rogers Clark always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
