Recap: Mitchell Tigers vs. Scottsbluff Bearcats
The Mitchell Tigers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by Scottsbluff at home and fell 52-21. Mitchell has not had much luck with Scottsbluff recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addy Bowlin, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds.
Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Scottsbluff, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Mitchell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hemingford on December 14th. As for Scottsbluff, they will square off against Buffalo at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
