Baseball Recap: Whitnall Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Whitnall proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Greendale Panthers 2-1. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Whitnall pushed their record up to 11-2-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Greendale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Whitnall will welcome Milwaukee King at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Greendale, they will head out on the road to challenge West Allis Central at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Bulldogs will have lost ten straight heading into Tuesday's game.
