Basketball Recap: Laredo LBJ Comes Up Short

Laredo LBJ was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the United South Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 870th, while the Panthers are ranked 225th).

Laredo LBJ's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for United South, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.

Laredo LBJ will head out to face off against Del Rio at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for United South, they will challenge Alexander at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
