After losing to Wetumpka the last time they met, Tallassee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 11-8 on Monday.

Abram Whittington looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Brue Milner was incredible, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Cash Gough was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.

Tallassee has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Wetumpka, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-14.
