Volleyball Recap: White County Comes Up Short

White County was the 2-1 winner over Oconee County when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. White County took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oconee County on Saturday. White County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13.

Leading Oconee County to victory were Annabelle (AB) Cureton and Cameron Webb. Cureton had five digs and five aces, while Webb had three digs and one assist. Those five aces gave Cureton a new career-high.

White County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Oconee County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

White County has already played their next match (against Trinity Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oconee County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against LaFayette on the 16th.
