Raymore-Peculiar won the last time they faced Grain Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Raymore-Peculiar had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-19, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Grain Valley still got an impressive performance from Chloe Hernandez, who had ten digs. Annabelle Stewart also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Raymore-Peculiar's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Grain Valley, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.

Raymore-Peculiar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against St. Pius X on the 13th. As for Grain Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Belton on the 13th.
