Volleyball Recap: Pocahontas Takes a Loss

Pocahontas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pocahontas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Coming up, Pocahontas will square off against Sioux Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Webster City on the 30th.
