Baseball Recap: Oswego East Comes Up Short

Oswego East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 14-3 to the Minooka Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Monday.

Joe Grimm made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Oswego East's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Minooka, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Oswego East will face off against Joliet West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Minooka will be paying especially close attention to the Wolves' matchup: after the Wolves face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Minooka again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
