Plymouth Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Whitmore Lake Trojans a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Eagles have won 17 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Plymouth Christian Academy pushed their record up to 30-8 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Whitmore Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
