Soccer Recap: Lindale Comes Up Short

Lindale's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Sulphur Springs Wildcats by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Lindale and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Sulphur Springs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

When Lindale and Sulphur Springs next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Lindale will try to stop Navasota's three-game winning streak when the meet at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sulphur Springs will face off against Progreso and their three-game winning streak at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
