Baseball Recap: Dewar Extends Home Winning Streak to 24

Dewar put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Mason Eagles get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory. Fans of the Dragons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

P. Kilhoffer was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Kilhoffer is crushing it when it comes to RBI: he's brought in at least three every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of L. Hankins, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2.

Dewar always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .613 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Dewar's win was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Dewar will welcome Weleetka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mason will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvin at 4:30 p.m. on March 24th.
