Baseball Game Preview: Williston Red Devils vs. Bradford Tornadoes

The Williston Red Devils will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Bradford Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Williston will be strutting in after a win while Bradford will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Williston got the win against Seven Rivers Christian by a conclusive 15-2. The victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won nine in a row.

Williston got a great performance from Ethan Morrow as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit.

On the hitting side, Thomas Smith was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Harlan Cole was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Williston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seven Rivers Christian only posted a batting average of .087.

Meanwhile, Bradford didn't have quite enough to beat Branford on Friday and fell 2-1.

Bradford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxson Carter, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Williston now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Williston got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Bradford by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
