Baseball Game Preview: Loudon Redskins vs. Sweetwater Wildcats

For the second straight game, Loudon will face off against Sweetwater. The Redskins will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Loudon came up short against Sweetwater and fell 5-2.

Loudon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Ridings, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Sweetwater's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Loudon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
