Basketball Game Preview: West Jordan Jaguars vs. Copper Hills Grizzlies + Official Tickets

West Jordan is 1-9 against Copper Hills since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Jaguars will face off against the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, West Jordan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 50-46 to Cedar Valley. The game marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Copper Hills came up short against Layton on Friday, falling 62-39. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

West Jordan will have to keep a close watch on Jacob Curtis and Isaiah Reiser, a pair of players who had a big impact on Copper Hills' prior game. Curtis posted 12 points and three steals, while Reiser scored ten points and six rebounds. Connor Behunin also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

West Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Copper Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

West Jordan lost to Copper Hills on the road by a decisive 73-54 margin in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
