Basketball Game Preview: Palmyra-Eagle Panthers vs. Deerfield Demons

Palmyra-Eagle hasn't had much luck against Deerfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will take on the Demons at 7:15 p.m. Palmyra-Eagle will be strutting in after a victory while Deerfield will be coming in after a defeat.

Palmyra-Eagle is headed out to face Deerfield after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Catholic Central 58-55. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Deerfield ended up a good deal behind Central Wisconsin Christian on Tuesday and lost 71-55.

Palmyra-Eagle came up short against Deerfield in their previous matchup back in February, falling 47-35. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
