Baseball Recap: Burlington City Takes a Loss

Burlington City lost against Westampton Tech back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 11-10.

Jaden Meredith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Meredith is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarrett James, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Burlington City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Westampton Tech, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Burlington City will challenge Medford Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westampton Tech, they will square off against Moorestown Friends at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
