Volleyball Game Preview: Lawson Lightning vs. Hillsboro Burros + How To Watch

The Lawson Lightning will head out to challenge the Hillsboro Burros at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lawson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Lawson got the win against Antioch by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lawson took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro suffered their biggest defeat since September 8th on Wednesday. They came up short against Christ Presbyterian Academy, falling 3-0. The Burros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-12.

Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Lawson, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Lawson couldn't quite get it done against Hillsboro when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Lightning avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
