Volleyball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Jackson Academy Raiders, falling 3-0. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-17.

Jackson Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Darby Horn, who had 22 assists. That's the most assists Horn has posted since back in September of 2024.

Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Jackson Academy, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0-1.

Looking ahead, Warren Central will head out on the road to challenge Madison Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
